As I sat down to read the various letters sent in memory of Dr. Sturtz I wished that I had taken advantage of this sooner! You have a great thing going on here.
Dr. Sturtz was one of my best friends, as many of you can also say, and I miss him very much. He got me through my toughest time physically, with my chronic pain, and he also was an incredible support emotionally. I would go to my appointments with excitment, knowing that I would feel much better physically, as well as emotionally when I left. Dr. Sturtz encouraged me to go to college, even when I wasn't in good shape physically, and he never doubted that I could make it through. He was absolutely right- I made it through. And not only that- I am now attending the Chiropractic College- a life-long dream!
I am so blessed to have known Dr. Sturtz, even if it was for such short a time (too short). Thanks for the opportunity to remember him in writing, and to share with each other about all of our great memories of him.
I, too, was very disappointed that I couldn't make it to the service due to the weather. There still needs to be a sense of "closure". Any ideas? Feel free to write to the below e-mail address (my parents'), or to my address (my address will be changing at the beginning of August).
